Careers: Multimedia designers

Greenwood multimedia designers innovate and develop compelling learning contents.

Every qualified multimedia designer enjoys a competitive compensation package which includes flexible working hours as well as professional development. Salary is based on relevant experiences.

In addition, Greenwood multimedia designers gain exclusive experience in high-technology English as a Second Language (ESL) multimedia content delivery, experience in coordinating innovative developmental activities in collaborations with teachers and professionals from other fields, plus the satisfaction in contributing to the continual improvement of a leading-edge system in a team environment.

Qualifications

You are technically oriented and you are an enthusiastic "people person". You thrive not only on being with people from various professional fields but also on participating in the dynamic world of a fast-pace software and content development environment.

You are a team-player. You are outgoing and very adaptive, and understand that life as a multimedia designer is ever-changing based on educational needs. You are open-minded, and see challenges as experiences and opportunities to show your technical savviness and people-oriented quality.

As every multimedia designer represents Greenwood from a technical point of view, you are expected to be able to articulate the merits of Greenwood's English-learning tool and how it can benefit students and teachers.

You are expected to have a university degree with multimedia design experience, and ideally previous experience of living abroad.

You must be fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing.

Your technical experiences must include animation techniques, web programming including HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and Java/Tomcat. Preference will be given to persons with knowledge of the Greenwood Foundation Objects.

Duties

Working with guidance from ESL educators in your team, you will design and develop the next-generation of Greenwood web ESL system using text, voice, music, graphics, animation and video in the delivery of ESL exercises and tests to students of a diverse age population.

Working hours will usually be between 07:00am - 10:00pm, and may involve morning and evening meetings, 6 days per week. You are expected to be on company's premise for at least 20 hours a week.

Greenwood multimedia designers are team-players and are expected to help initiate/coordinate outreach programs and other innovative educational activities in tight collaborations with teachers.
