Detailed Terms of Use

Greenwood Canada provides the www.Greenwood.ca website and programs for your educational and informational purposes.

1. CONTENT. The Greenwood website, DVDs and printed materials (collectively called the "Greenwood programs") are owned by Greenwood Canada. Greenwood Canada retains all proprietary rights to the Greenwood Programs. And as such, you cannot incorporate them into other works without our written permission.

While every effort is being made to ensure accuracy in our programs, the contents are subject to alteration or amendment without prior notice. Greenwood expressly reserves the right to deviate from what appears in this web site, in whole or in part. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, this may include changes to programs, courses, fees, or schedules.

LICENSING AGREEMENT for DVDs and printed materials (collectively called "studying materials")

You may:
(1) Use the studying materials on any number of machines for learning and instructional purposes.
(2) As a teacher or a student, without making any changes, duplicate these studying materials for backup, or redistribution to other teachers and students.
(3) Transfer these studying materials and license to someone else, provided that you do not edit, add or delete any of the contents, and the other person agrees to the terms of this license.

You can not:
(1) Modify these studying materials and/or merge it into another program for your use.
(2) Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of these studying materials or otherwise attempt to determine the underlying source code of the program or permit any such actions.

This license granted in this agreement is effective until terminated. Greenwood Canada may terminate this license at any time if you are in breach of any of its terms and conditions. Upon termination, you shall return the studying materials to Greenwood Canada and destroy any copies of the studying materials, including copies resident in computer memory.
2. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY. Greenwood Canada makes no representations about the suitability of the information contained in the Greenwood programs. Greenwood programs are provided “as is”, without representations or warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event will Greenwood Canada be liable to you for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages (even if Greenwood has been advised of the possibility of such damages), arising out of your use of or inability to use Greenwood.
3. LINKS. Some links on the Greenwood web site lead to sites posted by parties other than Greenwood. Greenwood does not review or control these sites, and merely provides these links to students for their convenience. Greenwood does not endorse the products, services, or information provided by such sites. Greenwood is an independent operating company and reference to other companies does not imply any partnership, joint venture, or other legal connection where Greenwood would be responsible for the actions of their respective owners.
4. PRIVACY POLICY. We are concerned about your right to privacy while accessing and using Greenwood. Please review our Privacy Policy.
5. GREENWOOD LOGO . As part of an institutional licensing for schools and libraries, you agree to post the specified Greenwood logo (see below) on one of your publicly accessible web pages. You also agree to notify Greenwood of the actual location of this page. Please check our sample page.
